Most real estate agent’s are able to occasionally help a family member, or friend to sell or buy. They can close a couple deals per year marketing by referral to the people that like, and trust them. It’s a “Learned Skill” to get people to like, and trust you, when they have know idea who you are and why they should hire you.

A valid prospective client is someone that has stated they are “Likely”, “Qualified”, or have “Agreed” to sell or buy real estate. These are the type of prospective client’s an agent is responsible to (1) meet in person (2) get them to like, and trust them as an agent, and to hire them by signing an agreement.

If, an agent is not able to meet with prospective client’s in person. Those clients will most likely hire another agent that took the time to get to know them in person.
